摘要(Abstract)：

非洲拥有丰富的油气资源。从近几年的全球勘探活动看 ,该地区的勘探成功率比较高 ,而勘探开发成本却相对较低。许多非洲国家为了发展本国的石油工业 ,继续推进国有石油公司私有化 ,纷纷制定优惠的对外政策 ,积极改善投资环境 ,鼓励外国石油公司前来投资。因此 ,国际石油公司在非洲的投资日益增多 ,仅 2 0 0 0年签定的油气勘探开发合同已超过 4 0份 ,使得非洲地区成为全球勘探活动最多的新区域
Africa has a rich oil and gas resource. In recent years , the exploration success percentage in this area is very high, while the exploration cost is relatively low. Many African countries make their national owned company to privatized in order to develop their petroleum industry. They make favourite policy and improve their investment environment to attract foreign countries. Therefore investment from international oil companies increases a lot. In 2000, more than 40 oil and gas exploration and development contracts were signed. Africa becomes the most active area of exploration in the world.
