摘要(Abstract)：
高分辨率地层倾角测井在寻找岩性尖灭和断层圈闭，确定不整合面的深度，了解风化带的厚度，探测盐丘和碳酸盐岩礁体的具体位置和裂缝方向，以及判断砂体形态和向等方面，已有不少成功例证。其资料还可用来研究岩石学和沉积学的许多特征，反映走岩层的均质程度，层面性质和产状，成为沉积环境分析的重要手段之一。结合其他资料进行综合分析，可以大大提高隐蔽油气藏勘探的成功率。
Abstract
There have been many examples proving the successful application of dipmeter to search for lithological pinch out and fault traps, to delerming depth of unconformity, to investigating thickness of weathering zone, to delineating the concrete locations of salt dome and carbonate reef and the orientation of structure as well as to identifying geometry and trend of a sand boody. The data obtained with dipmeter can also be used to study many petrological and sedimentary characteristics and to describe the homogeneity, surface property and occurrence of rocks. This apparatus has become an important tool for analyzing sedimentary environment. Intergrated analysis, combined with other data, can greatly raise the success rate of exploration for subtle traps.
